BAE SystemsTYSONS CORNER, VA, February 10, 2016 — BAE Systems has received $290 million from the U.K. defense ministry to design and build prototypes of the Successor submarine, which will replace the country’s Vanguard-class nuclear missile submarine fleet, GovCon Wire reported Tuesday.
The Telegraph reported Monday BAE will work with contractors such as Babcock and Rolls-Royce to produce components for the future submarines.
