Boeing, Northrop Grumman Named Contractors on Potential $225M UAE FMS Deal

LogisticsTYSONS CORNER, VA, February 26, 2016 — The United Arab Emirates’ request to purchase Large Aircraft Infrared Countermeasure systems and associated logistics services for $225 million has received clearance from the State Department, GovCon Wire reported Thursday.

The Defense Security Cooperation Agency said Wednesday that Boeing (NYSE: BA) will serve as prime contractor and Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC) will be the main subcontractor on the potential sale.
