US Gov’t OKs Australia’s Proposed $386M Purchase of Boeing Small-Diameter Bombs

BoeingLogo1-EbizTYSONS CORNER, VA, April 8, 2016 — Boeing (NYSE: BA) has been named as the principal contractor on a potential $386 million foreign military sale of its small-diameter bombs to Australia, GovCon Wire reported Thursday.

The Defense Security Cooperation Agency said Wednesday the State Department approved the proposed deal on 2,950 GBU-39/B bombs and associated equipment and services.
