US Approves $1B Sale of Raytheon-Made Missiles to Australia

Raytheon-logo_EbizTYSONS CORNER, VA, April 26, 2016 — The U.S. government has cleared the potential $1.22 billion foreign military sale of Raytheon‘s (NYSE: RTN) AIM-120D medium-range air-to-air missiles to Australia, GovCon Wire reported Monday.

The Defense Security Cooperation Agency said Monday the proposed sale includes 450 AIM-120D missiles and other major defense equipment for a total of $1.08 billion, and $140 million for support equipment and services.
