TYSONS CORNER, VA, April 29, 2016 — Leidos (NYSE: LDOS) CEO Roger Krone has told investors that the majority of Lockheed Martin‘s (NYSE: LMT) systems engineering and technical assistance contracts under the information systems and global solutions unit merged with Leidos has been spun off to the company now known as Vencore, GovCon Wire reported Wednesday.
“Where Lockheed had positioned IS&GS marries in with the philosophy that we have at Leidos that was promulgated at the time of the split where we spun out [SAIC], which contained our SETA business,” Krone said during Leidos’ first-quarter earnings call.
“Everything seems to be on track… We’ve heard nothing that would cause us to think we’re not going to be able to close near the end of the summer.”
