TYSONS CORNER, VA, Aug. 31, 2016 — The U.S. Navy has selected BAE Systems, General Dynamics (NYSE: GD), Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) and Epsilon Systems Solutions for positions on two contracts worth $950.8 million combined to provide support services for littoral combat ships, GovCon Wire reported Tuesday.
The Defense Department said Monday the $741.5 million contract for BAE Systems Southeast Shipyards and General Dynamics NASSCO is for sustainment support while the $209.3 million contract for Lockheed and Epsilon is for maintenance services.
