Accenture to Help CBP Hire Border Patrol, Customs Agents Under $297M Deal

TYSONS CORNER, VA, Dec. 19, 2017 — Accenture (NYSE: ACN) will provide public awareness and personnel recruitment support to the Customs and Border Protection agency under a potential $297 million contract, GovCon Wire reported Monday.

The Los Angeles Times reported Sunday the company will help CBP hire 5,000 Border Patrol agents, 2,000 customs officers and 500 Office of Air and Marine Operations agents through a targeted recruitment campaign as the U.S. administration works to ramp up border security operations.
