TYSONS CORNER, VA, Feb. 2, 2017 — Advanced Concepts and Technologies International has hired Claudio Monticelli, a former directorate support manager at Alion Science and Technology, as executive vice president for program management, GovCon Wire reported Wednesday.
ACT I said Monticelli, who was also in charge of subcontractors and personnel working on Alion’s Secretary of the Air Force Technical and Analytical Support contract for the F-35 program, will lead efforts at the total acquisition management service provider to transform program management activities.
Michael Niggel, CEO of ACT I, also noted Monticelli’s experience with Italy’s air force and said the new hire will support the company’s work with the Defense Department, other federal agencies as well as commercial and international customers.
