American Systems Appoints John Steckel VP of Business Dev’t; Peter Smith Comments

TYSONS CORNER, VA, July 25, 2018 — American Systems has hired John Steckel, a federal market veteran and a former senior vice president at Vencore, to serve as VP for business development, GovCon Wire reported July 17.

Steckel, who also brings experience in marketing and profit/loss functions, will be in charge of identifying potential customers, implementation of capture strategies as well as proposal development, American Systems said July 16.
