TYSONS CORNER, VA, Aug. 9, 2017 — General Dynamics (NYSE: GD) has appointed Amy Gilliland, a senior vice president, to succeed Daniel Johnson as president of the information technology business unit effective Sept. 1, GovCon Wire reported Thursday.
The company said Aug. 2 Johnson, an inductee into Executive Mosaic’s Wash100 for 2017, will retain his other role as executive vice president of the information systems and technology group, with responsibility over both General Dynamics Information Technology and General Dynamics Mission Systems.
