BAE Continues Work With NGA on FMV Analytics Under $250M Deal; Peder Jungck Quoted

TYSONS CORNER, VA, January 29, 2018 — BAE Systems Inc. will collaborate with the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency under a $250M deal to expand work on a contract to generate intelligence from the analysis of full-motion videos, GovCon Wire reported Wednesday.

The company said Jan. 22 it will continue analytic mission support to NGA as well as create a Performance Innovation Council that will work with agency leaders on new FMV capabilities from BAE in line with the “Team GEOINT” initiative for cross-sector intelligence collaboration.

“Together, we will exchange analytic best practices with our NGA leaders and provide the agency with insights into our respective technology roadmaps to ensure our future software, platforms and sensors are designed from the start to meet their mission needs,” said Peder Jungck, vice president and general manager of BAE’s intelligence solutions business.
