TYSONS CORNER, VA, Sept. 12, 2017 — BAE Systems will help design, build, test, integrate and deploy communications, electronics and mission systems for the U.S. Navy under a potential $76 million contract, GovCon Wire reported Wednesday.
The company said Sept. 5 the contract also covers certification and life-cycle maintenance of the systems in support of the Naval Warfare Center Aircraft Division’s special communications mission solutions unit.
Mark Keeler, acting president of the intelligence and security sector at BAE Systems Inc., said the company works to deliver integrated engineering and sustainment support in efforts to address the needs of the Navy.
