BAE Systems Inc. Names New VP, GM for Air Force Solutions Business Area; Al Whitmore Comments

TYSONS CORNER, VA, June 8, 2018 — BAE Systems Inc. has hired Peter Trainer, formerly vice president and U.S. Air Force operations manager at Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC), as VP and general manager of the Air Force solutions business area, GovCon Wire reported Tuesday.

BAE said Monday Trainer will oversee the unit that serves the Air Force and combatant commands in the areas of cyber hardening, modernization, testing and maintenance of aircraft, radar, missile systems and mission applications.
