TYSONS CORNER, VA, May 29, 2018 — The U.S. Navy has awarded Boeing (NYSE: BA) a $416.4 million contract modification to build and deliver three Lot 9 full-rate production P-8A Poseidon multi-mission maritime aircraft to the service branch, GovCon Wire reported Friday.
The Defense Department said Thursday work will be performed in the U.K. as well as California, Illinois, Maryland, New York, North Dakota, Washington and other U.S. sites through October 2020.
The Navy’s fiscal 2018 aircraft procurement funds will cover the modification value obligated at the time of award.
