TYSONS CORNER, VA, Nov. 30, 2016 — Management and technology consulting and engineering firm Booz Allen Hamilton (NYSE: BAH) has entered into an agreement to acquire Maryland-based government DevOps and cloud services provider Aquilent for $250 million, GovCon Wire said Tuesday.
Booz Allen said Tuesday it aims to expand its technology portfolio, talent pipeline and digital services for citizens through the purchase, which is expected to close by the end of 2016.
“This acquisition expands our network of digital solutions offerings with a team of technologists and a modern facility where we can advance cutting-edge solutions for our clients and take advantage of growth opportunities in the market for large digital projects,” said Greg Wenzel, executive vice president of Booz Allen’s digital business.
