CenturyLink Names New Leaders Within Strategic Gov’t Unit Under SVP David Young

TYSONS CORNER, VA, January 30, 2018 — CenturyLink (NYSE: CTL) has appointed Zain Ahmed, Meg Coker and Barbara Farnham to new positions within the company’s strategic government business, where they will work directly with unit leader David Young, GovCon Wire reported Thursday.

The company said Ahmed, most recently vice president and general manager of the federal civilian and law enforcement sales practice, will be in charge of CenturyLink’s cybersecurity work with the Department of Homeland Security.

Coker, formerly director of capture management, will be senior director for government strategy, while Farnham, senior director of federal programs, will be senior director and GM for special programs.

Young, senior vice president of strategic government at CenturyLink, is a 2019 Wash100 awardee.
