TYSONS CORNER, VA, August 6, 2018 — A Cubic (NYSE: CUB) subsidiary has closed its purchase of Shield Aviation‘s assets in a move that would help expand the Cubic Mission Solutions business unit’s command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance offerings, GovCon Wire reported July 24.

Cubic said July 24 its ISR Systems subsidiary acquired the assets of the autonomous aircraft systems maker to build on its existing portfolio of data link and command-and-control link for Shield Aviation’s AAS line.
