TYSONS CORNER, VA, October 16, 2015 — CACI has been awarded a contract to maintain and update the national public warning system in support of the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s NPWS modernization plan, GovCon Wire reported Thursday.

CACI said Tuesday the five-year, $90 million contract will include project management, and broadcast testing for reliability and security.

“CACI is proud that our ongoing support for the Federal Emergency Management Agency will help ensure that America’s national public warning system remains secure and reliable during emergencies, and that important emergency information is disseminated to inform and protect our nation’s citizens,” said Ken Asbury, CACI president and CEO.
