General Dynamics Subsidiary Secures Potential $305M Navy Contract for DDG 51 Lead-Yard Services

TYSONS CORNER, VA, June 12, 2018 — General Dynamics’ (NYSE: GD) Bath Iron Works subsidiary will provide lead-yard services for the U.S. Navy’s DDG 51 Arleigh Burke-class destroyer ships under a potential one-year, $304.8 million contract, GovCon Wire reported Monday.

Bath Iron Works will provide technical, engineering and material procurement support as well as design and production services to support the design feasibility analyses and studies as part of ship modification efforts for foreign military sales, the Defense Department said Friday.
