TYSONS CORNER, VA, January 25, 2018 — Huntington Ingalls Industries (NYSE: HII) is moving to buy Fulcrum IT Services as it seeks to expand its portfolio of predictive threat analytics and situational awareness services for the government market, GovCon Wire reported Tuesday.
HII said Jan. 18 its acquisition of the Virginia-based information technology and consulting firm is anticipated to close next month, after which Fulcrum will be part of the company’s technical solutions division.

Green, who is also an executive vice president at HII and a past Wash100 awardee, noted the two companies’ priority alignment in software development, data analytics, cybersecurity and advanced engineering.
