The definitive agreement covers the transfer of sensitive data center networking, campus/edge networking and storage-area networking service maintenance contracts to build an expanded Hitachi Vantara Federal portfolio, the company said Nov. 17.

“The acquisition of these assets moves us closer to our mission of becoming a full-service data provider with the best IP, domain expertise and data-driven technology to meet the broad spectrum of our clients needs in big data, analytics and the Internet of Things,” said David Turner, president and CEO of Hitachi Vantara Federal.
