Kuwait’s Potential $10B Buy of Super Hornet Aircraft Gets State Dept Clearance

ContractTYSONS CORNER, VA, Nov. 21, 2016 — The State Department has cleared Kuwait’s request to purchase F/A-18E/F Super Hornet aircraft and associated components under a potential $10.1 billion foreign military sales deal, GovCon Wire reported Friday.

The Defense Security Cooperation Agency said Thursday the principal contractors on the proposed sale are Boeing (NYSE: BA), Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC), Raytheon (NYSE: RTN) and General Electric.
