TYSONS CORNER, VA, March 21, 2018 — A subsidiary of Leidos (NYSE: LDOS) will provide support for the modernization of the Department of Veterans Affairs‘ information technology systems under a potential $472 million task order, GovCon Wire reported.
The company said Systems Made Simple will perform work under the Infrastructure Operations Services Support task order, including data center operations, application management as well as service desk and command center support.
Jerry Hogge, senior vice president of the military and veterans health solutions business at Leidos, said the company has IT personnel and management processes to help maintain system operations and support availability for VA’s data center applications and services.
