Lockheed Gets $559.6M Navy Contract Modification for Trident II D5 Production, Support

TYSONS CORNER, VA, February 1, 2019 — Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) has received a $559.6M contract modification from the U.S. Navy to continue the production of submarine-launched ballistic missiles for the service branch as well as the U.K. government, GovCon Wire reported Thursday.

The Department of Defense said Wednesday Lockheed’s space business will manufacture additional Trident II D5 missiles and provide deployed system support across several locations through Sept. 30, 2023.
