Lockheed Gets $712M Navy Delivery Order for F-35 Tech Refresh 3 Hardware

TYSONS CORNER, VA, January 2, 2018 — A Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) business unit will develop hardware in support of an F-35 technology refresh program under a $712.4M delivery order from the U.S. Navy, GovCon Wire reported Friday.

The Department of Defense said Thursday Lockheed Martin Aeronautics will provide the design of the Lot 15 F-35 aircraft’s Technology Refresh 3 system through flightworthiness certification, production readiness review and fleet release for the Navy, U.S. Marine Corps and non-U.S. DoD participants.
