TYSONS CORNER, VA, July 6, 2017 — Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) has received U.S. Navy contract modifications potentially worth $73.9 million combined to support the low-rate initial production of Lots 11 and 12 F-35 fighter aircraft, GovCon Wire reported Wednesday.
The Defense Department said Monday Lockheed will supply long-lead parts and components for five Lot 12 F-35B jets under a $43.9 million modification, as well as hardware assembly and engineering services for Lot 11 Japanese F-35 jets under a $30 million modification.
