Lockheed Martin to Supply Trident II D5 Missiles Under $541M Navy Contract Modification

TYSONS CORNER, VA, Feb. 16, 2017 — Lockheed Martin‘s (NYSE: LMT) space systems business will supply Trident II D5 fleet ballistic missiles to the U.S. Navy under a $540.8 million contract modification, GovCon Wire reported Wednesday.

The Defense Department said Tuesday Lockheed will perform work under the award through Sept. 30, 2021.

Trident II missiles are launched from the Navy’s Ohio-class submarines.
