Lockheed, Raytheon, GE & Longbow Named on Potential $930M Sale of Apache Gear to India

TYSONS CORNER, VA, June 14, 2018 — The State Department has named General ElectricLockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT), Longbow and Raytheon (NYSE: RTN) as the prime contractors on a proposed $930 million direct commercial sale of AH-64E Apache weapons and equipment to India, GovCon Wire reported Wednesday.

The Defense Security Cooperation Agency said Tuesday the transaction covers India’s request for T700-GE-701D engines, AN/APG-78 fire control radars, AN/APR-48B modernized radar frequency interferometers, Hellfire and Stinger missiles, and other weapons and support equipment for six Apache helicopters.
