ManTech Lands $668M CDM DEFEND Award for Group E Cyber Support; Kevin Phillips, Rick Wagner Quoted

TYSONS CORNER, VA, September 13, 2018 — ManTech International (Nasdaq: MANT) will provide cybersecurity services to Group E federal agencies in the Department of Homeland Security‘s Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation program under a potential $668M task order via the Dynamic and Evolving Federal Enterprise Network Defense vehicle, GovCon Wire reported Sept. 6.

The company said Sept. 5 the award covers cyber support to the departments of Education and Housing and Urban Development, Environmental Protection Agency, Small Business Administration, Securities and Exchange Commission, Nuclear Regulatory Commission, Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and National Science Foundation.

Rick Wagner, president of ManTech’s mission, cyber and intelligence solutions group and a 2018 Wash100 awardee, said the company will work to accelerate the implementation of cyber capabilities at government agencies in order to ensure the security of critical missions.
