Mitre Names New President & CEO to Succeed Al Grasso

TYSONS CORNER, VA, Feb. 15, 2017 — Mitre‘s board of directors has elected Jason Providakes, who currently holds a senior vice president position, to assume the roles of president and CEO effective March 6, GovCon Wire reported Tuesday.

The nonprofit organization said Tuesday Providakes will succeed Al Grasso, who will remain as a member of the board of trustees.

Providakes joined Mitre in 1991 and also currently serves as general manager of its Center for Connected Government.
