He joined the firm in 2011 after serving at Harris Crucial Security and SAIC.
Vorthman also served as an intelligence analyst in the U.S. Navy during Operation Iraqi Freedom.
In his new role, he will work to establish the technical direction and overall strategy for the company’s civilian customers.
His most recent role at the firm was serving as cyber practice lead where he developed strategy aimed to address the cybersecurity market for customers in the civilian, defense, intelligence, healthcare and state and local education sectors.
