Raytheon Lands $302M Navy Deal on Design, Engineering Support for Guided Missile System

TYSONS CORNER, VA, July 24, 2018 — Raytheon (NYSE: RTN) will provide design agent and engineering services under a potential $301.7 million contract to support a U.S. Navy weapon system against anti-ship missiles, GovCon Wire reported Monday.

The Defense Department said Friday the MK-31 Guided Missile Weapon System Improvement Program contract tasks the company to help maintain the existing Rolling Airframe Missile system and perform software maintenance, design, logistics engineering, reliability, quality assurance and other support services.
