Raytheon Names New CEO for Saudi Arabia-Based Business Unit

TYSONS CORNER, VA, Aug. 1, 2017 — Raytheon (NYSE: RTN) has named Kurt Amend, president of Raytheon International‘s operations in Saudi Arabia, as CEO of the Raytheon Arabia business unit, GovCon Wire reported Monday.

The company said Sunday Amend will lead efforts to execute business strategy and drive defense-related projects and technology development programs in Saudi Arabia.

He will also be part of the board of directors at Raytheon Arabia, which includes other company executives such as Dave Wajsgras, president of the intelligence, information and services business and an inductee into Executive Mosaic’s Wash100 for 2017.
