SAIC Gets Spot on $250M BPA for USDA IT Support; Bob Genter Comments

TYSONS CORNER, VA, Oct. 3, 2017 — Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC) has secured a position to provide information technology support to the Agriculture Department under a potential $250 million blanket purchase agreement, GovCon Wire reported Sept. 26.

The company said Sept. 26 the multiple-award Information Technology Governance, Management, Strategy and Security BPA covers enterprise architecture, capital planning and security support services.

Bob Genter, senior vice president and general manager of SAIC’s federal civilian customer group, noted that the company aims to build on its agriculture IT portfolio through the agreement.
