SAIC to Support Sustainment of Integrated Afloat, Ashore Tactical Networks Under $196M Navy IDIQ

TYSONS CORNER, VA, July 2, 2018 — The U.S Navy has awarded Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC) a potential five-year, $196.5 million contract to provide sustainment services that support integrated ashore and afloat tactical networks, GovCon Wire reported Friday.

The indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract has a $116.2 million base value over a three-year performance period through June 27, 2021, as well as an option to potentially extend work through 2023, the Defense Department said Thursday.

Work will be performed onboard Navy ships and at DoD installations and facilities around the world under the supervision of the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command.
