Siemens Gov’t Technologies Lands Initial Work Under DOE Contract for LANL Energy Efficiency; Tina Dolph Quoted

TYSONS CORNER, VA, December 27, 2018 — Siemens Government Technologies has secured a $45.8M initial task order from the Department of Energy under a previously awarded $555M energy savings performance contract to update a heating and power system at Los Alamos National Laboratory, GovCon Wire reported Dec. 13.

The company said Dec. 12 the work is part of the overall effort to drive energy efficiency and resiliency as well as reduce carbon dioxide emissions at the New Mexico-based laboratory over a 21-year performance period.
