State Dept Names Boeing, Lockheed as Contractors in Proposed $1.2B Apache Update FMS

TYSONS CORNER, VA, Feb. 22, 2018 — The State Department has indicated Boeing (NYSE: BA) and Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) as principal contractors on a proposed foreign military sale of helicopter modification services to the Netherlands worth $1.2 billion, GovCon Wire reported Wednesday.

The Defense Security Cooperation Agency said Tuesday the Dutch government requested updates for 28 Apache AH-64D Block II helicopters into the AH-64E configuration, including modifications for engines, radars and other components.
