Hello, Guest!

The New New Internet unveiled a number of timely and important news items this week geared toward the government contracting executive.
One important story that the website covered was Mike Rogers, Michigan representative and chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, commenting on the state of American cyber defenses.
The congressman said that the United States is losing the cyberwar to countries like China and Russia because the U.S. is not investing enough resources in the cause.
Rogers also said “The impact of that investment is felt not only in the economic sphere, important as that is. Cyber is now an integral of military planning and operations, as the Russians have demonstrated several times.”
Keith Alexander is also quoted in the piece saying that China has stolen more than 1 trillion dollars to date, by cyber means.
In other news, L-3 Communications has won a contract to provide radio communications to the International Space Station.
The units will be used to connect docking spacecraft with space station inhabitants.
A company statement said a standard data link is used, which saves weight, space and simplifies logistics for coordinating the docking of visiting vehicles.
The contract calls for the delivery of four units and is worth $24 million.
Executive Mosaic’s portfolio of over five media platforms serves to inform executives from across GovCon and defense of the events, people and companies that shape their industry.
