TYSONS CORNER, VA, March 5, 2018 — A Vectrus (NYSE: VEC) subsidiary will provide a range of services in support of U.S. Army dining facilities located in Kuwait as part of a potential $108 million contract, GovCon Wire reported.
The company said the contract award to Vectrus Systems covers personnel, equipment, supplies, transportation, tools, materials and non-personal services in support of the Kuwait Dining Facilities 3.0 program at Camp Arifjan, Camp Buehring, Kuwait Naval Base, Ali Al Salem Air Base and Mubarak Air Base.
Chuck Prow, president and CEO of Vectrus and a 2018 Wash100 inductee, said DFAC 3.0 reflects the company’s strategy as it works to expand its base business and further position itself as a provider of facilities and logistics services to the Defense Department and the Middle Eastern region.
