The former Pentagon CIO and assistant defense secretary for C3I said it was an honor to lead the men and women of the company through its formation and early evolution.
Crouch elevates from his current position as president of the technology solutions group and previously served as deputy national security adviser before coming to the company in 2007.

Roger Krone on Boeing’s Appointment of Jim Chilton to Defense Systems Lead and Greg Hyslop R&D Lead

Jim Chilton has been appointed Boeing‘s VP and GM of strategic missile and defense systems, succeeding Greg Hyslop, new VP and GM of research and technology.
As head of exploration launch systems, Chilton led Boeing’s system that explores beyond Earth’s orbit and led a team responsible for testing International Space Station hardware.

Roger Krone, president of network and space systems,said Boeing looked to Chilton for his management, customer, technology and other executive experience.
Hyslop, a 31-year company veteran, will lead the 4,000-employee central advanced R&D team, which works on technologies that help develop new products.

Timothy Knight will succeed Asif Shaikh as VP and GM of Engility Corp.’s international development business.
Knight will work with U.S. government partners to help developing countries grow economically, develop and sustain resources and promote governance and capacity building, among other aid.

Tony Smeraglinolo, Engility president and CEO, said Knight has a passion for building a cleaner safer and more prosperous world and his organization provides USAID with expertise to deliver economic assistance around the world.
Shaikh will move to the company’s strategic relations team and will focus on developing and maintaining relationships with Engility’s senior level customers and other government stakeholders.
Phebe Novakovic on Jerry DeMuro’s Retirement as General Dynamics Info Systems- Tech Group Lead

Gerard “Jerry” DeMuro has announced he will retire as EVP ofGeneral Dynamics‘ information systems and technology group on Feb. 28.
The 14-year company veteran has led the group since 2003 and led the C4 systems business upon its 2002 formation.

Phebe Novakovic, General Dynamics chairman and CEO, said DeMuro made significant contributions to the company during his tenure.
Business units within the information systems and technology group will report directly to Novakovic until the company appoints DeMuro’s successor.
