Duane Andrews on New QinetiQ CFO and BAE vet Gary Slack

Gary<br /><br /><br /><br /> SlackGary Slack (left) was named chief financial officer and executive vice president at QinetiQ North America on Monday after spending 13 years with BAE Systems Inc.Duane AndrewsQinetiQ said Slack will “play an expanded role in strategy and business operations” and CEO Duane Andrews (right) added that QinetiQ will look to Slack as part of its efforts to drive results in a competitive market.

At BAE, Slack most recently served as president of combat systems, where he directed operations involving more than 9,000 employees across 16 states. 

He previously was TRW‘s director of group finance for systems and IT and has worked in the public sector for the Virginia Department of Taxation
 
Paul Fernandes Looks to Rick Attilio to Fill STG’s COO and CFO Roles

Fernandes said Attilio will work to “turn STG into a true high-performance, large-cap organization” as Attilio added he will pursue company growth by investing in its internal processes.
Attilio joins STG from the CFO position at Apptis after a 23-year career with Unisys, where he rose to the rank of VP of finance for the global public sector.
Teri Marconi Named Northrop’s Naval, Marine Systems Lead
Teri MarconiAs the new naval and marine systems lead for Northrop Grumman, Teri Marconi will hold all executive responsibility for those programs in the Baltimore-based electronic systems sector.The 27-year company vet has previously served as that sector’s VP of business development, VP of combat avionics systemsand director of airborne warning systems.She has also managed marketing and business development for Northrop’s airborne surveillance systems.
In her new leadership role, Marconi will oversee operations in Maryland, Virginia, New York, the U.K. and other locations.

Paul Saleh on Tom Colan, CSC’s New VP & Accounting Head 
Tom Colan has been selected as CSC‘s new vice president, controller and principal accounting officer.He is succeeding Don DeBuck, who has been with the company for 11 years as both VP and controller.
Paul SalehCFO Paul Saleh said Colan will help transform some systems as part of efforts to improve financial foundation and performance.
Colan’s previous executive experience includes time as an EVP and chief accounting officer at Discovery Communications and as controller, treasurer and SVP for AOL/Time Warner and GTE.
