Dr. Andrew Rogers has been promoted to EVP and GM of the technology solutions division at QinetiQ NA.
He will lead the company’s survivability, unmanned systems, power management, sensors and control systems product portfolios.

J.D. Crouch, QinetiQ NA CEO, said Rogers will use his experience in defense, security and commercial offerings to support high technology R&D and product development.
He joined QinetiQ NA in 2005 when it acquired Planning Systems and most recently served as SVP of QNA’s survivability line.

Intelligent Decisions has started a new subsidiary named IDApps, meant to develop mobile applications for customers.
IDApps has already delivered its first app, which is meant to replace paper visitor-log books used in company reception areas.

Marcus Collier on General Dynamic’s CMS Info Systems Contract

General Dynamics will maintain and update Medicare beneficiary eligibility systems for the Centers of Medicare and Medicaid Services under a potential $20 million contract.
“The systems maintained by CMS are critical to ensuring beneficiaries receive accurate and efficient services,” said Marcus Collier, SVP of General Dynamics Information Technology’s health and civilian solutions division.
GD will also help CMS run its HIPAA eligibility transaction system and update software for the beneficiary eligibility suite of systems transactions program.
Ron Morgan on MorganFranklin’s Appointment of C.E. Andrews as CEO

Effective May 13, C.E Andrews will succeed co-founder Robert Morgan as CEO of MorganFranklin Consulting.
Andrews is a 29-year Arthur Andersen vet, most recently served as COO at RSM McGladrey Inc. and held executive roles at Sallie Mae from 2003 to 2008 including CEO.
