TYSONS CORNER, VA, Feb. 13, 2017 — Eight companies have secured spots on a $3.04 billion indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to help the U.S. Army research and develop technology platforms for space and missile defense operations, GovCon Wire reported Friday.
The firms will compete for task orders to aid the military branch in efforts to design, develop, integrate and demonstrate the domain-one hardware and software platforms under the award, the Defense Department said Thursday.
BAE Systems, Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC), KBR (NYSE: KBR), Raytheon (NYSE: RTN) and Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC) were among the companies selected for the award.
The other awardees are DyneticsQWK Integrated Solutions and Teledyne (NYSE: TDY).
