Accenture Eyes IT Support for SEC Under Potential $2.5B Vehicle; Elaine Beeman Quoted

TYSONS CORNER, VA, September 25, 2018 — An Accenture (NYSE: ACN) business unit will work to provide information technology services to the Securities and Exchange Commission through the company’s position on a potential $2.5B contract, GovCon Wire reported Sept. 17.

The company said Sept. 17 Accenture Federal Services secured a spot under the ONE IT multi-award contract to offer IT support for SEC’s business operations, systems and software, including services in the areas of information security, data management, IT governance and platform application development.

Elaine Beeman, senior managing director and civilian portfolio lead at AFS, said the company will leverage its analytics, cloud services and information security capabilities to help SEC in its IT modernization and digital transformation efforts.
