Vectrus Lands $151M Task Order for Navy C4I Systems Engineering; Chuck Prow Quoted

TYSONS CORNER, VA, February 4, 2019 — A Vectrus (NYSE: VEC) subsidiary will help engineer the U.S. Navy’s command, control, communications, computing and intelligence systems for afloat operations under a $151M task order, GovCon Wire reported Jan. 28.

The company said Jan. 25 Vectrus Systems will provide end-to-end C4I systems engineering support to the Navy under the Fleet Systems Engineering Team program as part of the SeaPort-e task order award that runs through January 2024.

Chuck Prow, president and CEO of Vectrus and a 2019 Wash100 awardee, noted that the company will perform work under the task order as a prime contractor as it builds on support for Navy fleet readiness.
