TYSONS CORNER, VA August 6, 2015 — CACI International has been awarded a five-year, $46 million contract to continue providing software development support for the U.S. Army, GovCon Wire reported Wednesday.
CACI said the work includes the automation of business processes such as requirement documentation and authorization, and the deployment of a security system to protect the software.
“With this contract, CACI continues its strong history of supporting the Army’s Program Executive Officer Enterprise Information Systems,” said Ken Asbury, CACI president and CEO and inductee into Executive Mosaic‘s Wash100 for 2015, noting that the Army aims to “transform the business processes [it] relies on to fulfill its most essential requirements.”
