TYSONS CORNER, VA September 11, 2015 — ASRC Federal Technical Services has been awarded a five-year $40 million contract to provide satellite communications operations and maintenance support to the 50th Space Wing, U.S. Air Force Space Command, GovCon Wire reported Thursday.

The work comes under the WICS program and includes communication services at the Global Broadcast Service operations center and remote sites, ASRC Federal said Wednesday.

“We understand the responsibility that goes along with providing mission critical communication services under this contract and are committed to being a reliable and outstanding partner,” said Mark Gray, ASRC Federal president and CEO and an inductee into Executive Mosaic’s Wash100 for 2015.

“Our experience delivering satellite support services, information assurance and safety services as part of our successful National Security Space strategy provides a solid foundation for supporting the 50th Space Wing.”
