SAIC Lands Training Support Work Under $554M Army Contract; Jim Scanlon Comments

TYSONS CORNER, VA, April 2, 2018Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC) will provide training support to the U.S. Army through its position on the service branch’s potential $554 million Training Support Systems-Enterprise multi-award contract, GovCon Wire reported March 26.

The company said March 23 it is one of seven awardees tasked to build integrated live, virtual, constructive and gaming training platforms in support of active-duty, reserve and National Guard personnel within and outside the continental U.S.

Jim Scanlon, senior vice president and general manager of the defense systems customer group at SAIC, noted the company will bring its LVC training experience in support of the core task areas under TSS-E.
