Executive Mosaic, Tysons Corner, VA January 22, 2015 – Casey Coleman of AT&T sees technology convergence coming to a head for the federal information technology sector in 2015, ExecutiveBiz reported Wednesday.

Coleman, client executive vice president for the telecomm firm’s government solutions practice, made the forecast in a wide-raging FCW interview published earlier in the week.

“I think we’re going to be hearing more about this acronym SMAC — social, mobile, analytics, and cloud — it’s another element of the whole convergence trend,” she told FCW’s Colby Hochmuth.

“Any one of these things is a big deal by itself, but when you put them together, you have some synergistic capabilities to do things you couldn’t do before.”
